A moulded window frame, or window surround, runs up both sides and across the head of a window or door to frame it with a classical border. On a rendered house it adds instant period character and a sense of proportion, whether you are restoring an older property or giving a new build more presence.
The profiles are made from lightweight polyurethane foam that won't rot or swell like timber and won't crack like plaster. They cut with standard tools and are fixed with adhesive, with joints bonded using joint adhesive. Every piece arrives white and should be finished with a good exterior masonry paint once fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather and lets you match the colour of your render or stonework.
