A window surround moulding (Gaudi call it a “platband”), 160 mm wide and 40 mm deep, supplied in 2.3 m lengths, with a stepped face with a moulded outer edge. It runs up both sides and across the head of a window or door, mitred at the top corners, to frame the opening with a classical border. The same profile also comes in 2 m lengths as Window Frame 4.84.052: use this 2.3 m length where it saves a joint up the sides of a tall window, and the 2 m length for shorter runs. Finish the bottom with one of our window ledges, such as Window Sill 4.82.101 or Window Sill 4.82.201.

Like the rest of Gaudi’s facade range it is polyurethane foam: light, moisture resistant and supplied white, ready to paint. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and bond every joint with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) (or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) for small repairs). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
