Balustrade posts anchor each end of a decorative balustrade and break up long runs, giving the rhythm of a classical stone balustrade on a parapet, a terrace edge or the wall under a window. This collection holds the posts and the caps that finish them, sized to match Gaudi's two facade balustrade series.
These posts are made from polyurethane foam and are decorative rather than structural. They are not a guard rail and must never be relied on to stop a fall from a balcony, terrace, landing or stair; any real guarding must come from a structural rail.
The posts are fixed with adhesive and joined to the rails with joint adhesive. Every piece arrives white and should be finished with a good exterior masonry paint once fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather and lets you match the colour of your render or stonework.
