A balustrade brings classical elegance to the outside of a house: along a parapet, at the edge of a terrace, or as a relief on the wall beneath a window. This collection is Gaudi's facade balustrade range, made to give the look of carved stone at a fraction of the weight.
Like all polyurethane decor, these balustrades are decorative rather than structural. They must never be relied on to stop a fall from a balcony, terrace, landing or stair. Where guarding is needed, it has to come from a proper structural rail.
The parts are lightweight polyurethane foam, fixed with adhesive and joined with joint adhesive. Every piece arrives white and should be finished with a good exterior masonry paint once fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather and lets you match the colour of your render or stonework.
