Gaudi’s multipurpose adhesive for fixing polyurethane coving, cornice, skirting and mouldings to walls and ceilings. It is a hybrid polymer adhesive that holds the lengths in place without screws or pins while it sets, and it bonds to almost any building surface, indoors or on a facade.

  • Fixing coving, cornice, skirting boards, dado rails, mouldings and ceiling roses
  • Interior and exterior (facade) work
  • Brick, cement, plaster, stone, worked wood, aluminium, PVC and glass

How to apply

  1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Prime weak or crumbly plaster first.
  2. Run a 3–5mm bead of adhesive along the back of the moulding where it meets the wall and ceiling.
  3. Press it firmly into place and hold for 4–5 seconds.
  4. Remove any excess straight away.

How much do I need?

As a rough guide, one cartridge fixes about 6 to 8 metres of standard coving (up to 100mm). Larger profiles use more. The “How many do I need?” calculator on each coving and moulding page works it out for your room.

For the joints between lengths and at the corners, use Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) or Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290).
