A window surround moulding (Gaudi call it a “platband”), 121 mm wide and 35 mm deep, supplied in 2 m lengths, with a slim, flat face with fine lines along its length. It runs up both sides and across the head of a window or door, mitred at the top corners, to frame the opening with a classical border. Finish the bottom with one of our window ledges, such as Window Sill 4.82.101 or Window Sill 4.82.201.

Gaudi make it in polyurethane foam, which is light, moisture resistant and supplied white so it can be painted to suit the house. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and seal the joints with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
