A window surround moulding (Gaudi call it a “platband”), 140 mm wide and 37 mm deep, supplied in 2 m lengths, with a stepped face with a moulded outer edge. It runs up both sides and across the head of a window or door, mitred at the top corners, to frame the opening with a classical border. The same profile also comes in 2.3 m lengths as Window Frame 4.84.003: the 2.3 m length saves a joint up the sides of a tall window. Finish the bottom with one of our window ledges, such as Window Sill 4.82.101 or Window Sill 4.82.201.

Like the rest of Gaudi’s facade range it is polyurethane foam: light, moisture resistant and supplied white, ready to paint. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and bond every joint with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) (or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) for small repairs). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
