A Corinthian capital carved with acanthus leaves and a central rosette for a small facade pilaster, 269 mm wide, 205 mm high and 99 mm deep. Flat-backed, it fixes straight onto the wall. It is part of Pilaster 4.20.303 and Pilaster 4.20.304, which stand on a pedestal corbel so the pilaster can start part-way up the wall, and it is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.
Made in lightweight polyurethane foam, it won’t rot, crack or swell in the rain the way timber or sand-and-cement mouldings can. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and use Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) on any joints. Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot hold up a porch roof, canopy, balcony or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
