An Ionic capital with scrolled volutes and an egg-and-dart band for a small facade pilaster, 305 mm wide, 115 mm high and 67 mm deep. Flat-backed, it fixes straight onto the wall. It is part of Pilaster 4.20.203 and Pilaster 4.20.204, which stand on a pedestal corbel so the pilaster can start part-way up the wall, and it is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

Like the rest of Gaudi’s facade range it is polyurethane foam: light, moisture resistant and supplied white, ready to paint. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290), using Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) wherever it butts against another piece. Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot hold up a porch roof, canopy, balcony or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
