A fluted shaft for a small facade pilaster, 2013 mm long, 174 mm wide and 42 mm deep. Flat-backed, it fixes straight onto the wall. It can be trimmed if you need it shorter. It is part of Pilaster 4.20.204, which stands on a pedestal corbel so the pilaster can start part-way up the wall, and it is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

Gaudi make it in polyurethane foam, which is light, moisture resistant and supplied white so it can be painted to suit the house. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and seal joints with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot hold up a porch roof, canopy, balcony or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
