The flexible version of arch frame Window Frame 4.87.031, made to bend around a radius of about 600 to 900 mm, so it can follow a curved window or door head that doesn’t match the rigid frame exactly. Flexible mouldings are cast in a softer polyurethane that bends by hand; fix it to the curve with adhesive and hold it in place until it has set. It has the same 50 mm depth and profile as Window Frame 4.87.031 and the straight surround Window Frame 4.84.001, so it joins them seamlessly.

Made in lightweight polyurethane foam, it won’t rot, crack or swell in the rain the way timber or sand-and-cement mouldings can, and it cuts cleanly with a fine-toothed saw. Use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) to fix it and Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) on the joints. Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
