A curved arch frame for the head of an arched window or door, with an inside radius of 750 mm and a depth of 50 mm. Gaudi make it as a quarter-circle section, so two pieces form a full semicircular head. It shares its 50 mm depth and profile with the straight window surrounds, so Window Frame 4.84.001 can carry the frame down the sides of the opening. If your arch is a different size, Window Frame 4.87.031(flex) is the flexible version, which bends to suit radii of about 600 to 900 mm.

Made in lightweight polyurethane foam, it won’t rot, crack or swell in the rain the way timber or sand-and-cement mouldings can, and it cuts cleanly with a fine-toothed saw. Use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) to fix it and Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) on the joints. Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
