Pilaster 1.20.303

A flat pilaster, 3183 mm tall, 419 mm wide and only 112 mm deep, so it sits close to the wall and suits rooms where a full or half column would take up too much space. It has a large Corinthian pilaster capital, deeply carved with acanthus leaves and corner volutes over a fluted shaft, finished at the foot with a plinth with a bold moulded top. The set is made up of Capital 1.21.002, Shaft 1.22.200 and Base 1.23.200, and each part is also sold on its own. Check the overall height against your ceiling before ordering; the shaft is the part to trim if you need it shorter.

Gaudi make it in polyurethane foam, which is light, moisture resistant and supplied white so it can be painted to suit the room. Join the parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) and fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
