Pilaster 1.20.103

A flat pilaster, 2353 mm tall, 152 mm wide and only 45 mm deep, so it sits close to the wall and suits rooms where a full or half column would take up too much space. It has a small, plain Tuscan pilaster capital over a narrow plain shaft, finished at the foot with a slim plinth finished with a dentil moulding. The set is made up of Capital 1.21.008, Shaft 1.22.050 and Base 1.23.600, and each part is also sold on its own. Check the overall height against your ceiling before ordering; the shaft is the part to trim if you need it shorter.

Every part is polyurethane foam: light enough to lift into place by hand, moisture resistant and delivered white, ready to paint. Bond the joints between the parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) (or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) for smaller jobs) and fix it in position with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
