A fluted half-column shaft, 2300 mm long, 250 mm wide and 125 mm deep. Half-round in section, it sits flat against the wall between the base and the capital. It can be trimmed to suit a lower ceiling. It is part of Column 1.10.205, Column 1.10.206, Column 1.10.209 and Column 1.10.210, and is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

It is polyurethane foam, supplied white and ready to paint, and it won’t rot or swell with moisture. Join it to the other parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) and fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
