An astragal ring for a full round column: the moulded band that sits at the foot of the shaft, a heavier profile than the standard rings. It is 297 mm in diameter and 44 mm thick. It is part of Column 1.30.209 and Column 1.30.210, and is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

Like the rest of the range it is polyurethane foam: light, moisture resistant and supplied white, ready to paint. Bond it to the neighbouring parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60), and use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) where it meets the wall or floor. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
