A complete decorative fireplace surround in a plain, panelled style, 1295 mm wide and 1097 mm high, projecting 195 mm. It is supplied as a set of three parts: the mantel header Fireplace Surround 1.64.004 and two fluted pilaster legs Fireplace Surround 1.64.005, which are glued together and to the wall on site.

Moulded in polyurethane foam, it is far lighter than a stone or cast surround and fixes with adhesive: use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) to the wall and Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) where the parts meet. It arrives white and can be painted any colour, including stone and marble effects. Gaudi call these decorative fireplaces: polyurethane is not a heat-resistant or fire-rated material, so check the clearances required around any live fire, stove or insert with your installer before fitting.
