A decorated Ionic half column, half-round in plan so it sits flat against a wall, 2622 mm tall, 390 mm wide and 195 mm deep. The capital has a rosette and leaf ornament set between its scrolled volutes, and sits over a smooth shaft with an astragal ring at its foot; the column stands on a round moulded base with stacked torus mouldings. The set is made up of Capital 1.15.003, Shaft 1.16.020, Ring 1.15.200 and Base 1.17.200, and each part is also sold on its own. Check the overall height against your ceiling before ordering; the shaft is the part to trim if you need it shorter.

Every part is polyurethane foam: light enough to lift into place by hand, moisture resistant and delivered white, ready to paint. Bond the joints between the parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) (or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) for smaller jobs) and fix it in position with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
