Column 1.10.102

A plain Tuscan half column, half-round in plan so it sits flat against a wall, 2695 mm tall, 225 mm wide and 112 mm deep. The capital has a low profile and a crisp square abacus, and sits over a slender smooth shaft; the column stands on a moulded foot on a thin plinth. The set is made up of Capital 1.15.008, Shaft 1.16.061 and Base 1.17.700, and each part is also sold on its own. Check the overall height against your ceiling before ordering; the shaft is the part to trim if you need it shorter.

Gaudi make it in polyurethane foam, which is light, moisture resistant and supplied white so it can be painted to suit the room. Join the parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) and fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
