A slender smooth half-column shaft, 2480 mm long, 163 mm wide and 82 mm deep. Half-round in section, it sits flat against the wall between the base and the capital. It can be trimmed to suit a lower ceiling. It is part of Column 1.10.102, and is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

Made in lightweight polyurethane foam, it paints well and suits damp rooms as well as dry ones. Use Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) on the joints and Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) for fixing to the wall or floor. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
