A composite coving supplied in 2 m lengths, 45 mm down the wall and 30 mm across the ceiling. Its profile is a slim stepped profile with fine fillets. It is a neat coving that suits bedrooms, kitchens and rooms with standard ceilings, and it closes the join between wall and ceiling with a clean, finished line. It is the composite version of polyurethane Cornice 1.50.171, with the same profile and size, so the two can be mixed in one project. Composite is rigid, so for a curved wall or bay window use the flexible polyurethane Cornice 1.50.171(flex).

Composite coving is made from a high-density composite polymer (an extruded, polystyrene-based foam, as Gaudi describe it): rigid, very light, moisture resistant and usually cheaper than the polyurethane equivalent. It takes water-based paint well. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and bond the mitres and butt joints with Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60). Our guide how much coving do I need? explains how to measure a room.
