A composite coving supplied in 2 m lengths, 23 mm down the wall and 23 mm across the ceiling. Its profile is a tiny, plain cove. It is a small, discreet coving for tight spaces, bathrooms, or as a slim shadow line, and it closes the join between wall and ceiling with a clean, finished line. It is the composite version of polyurethane Cornice 1.50.154, with the same profile and size, so the two can be mixed in one project. Composite is rigid, so for a curved wall or bay window use the flexible polyurethane Cornice 1.50.154(flex).
Composite coving is made from a high-density composite polymer (an extruded, polystyrene-based foam, as Gaudi describe it): rigid, very light, moisture resistant and usually cheaper than the polyurethane equivalent. Once fixed, fill the joints with Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60), then paint the coving with the ceiling or wall colour. Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) is the adhesive for fixing it.
