A composite skirting board supplied in 2 m lengths, 200 mm high and 15 mm deep. Its profile is a plain, flat face with a neat rebated top edge. It is a tall, statement skirting for rooms with high ceilings and period homes, where a low skirting would look lost. The same design comes in other heights: Skirting Board 6.53.803 (100 mm) and Skirting Board 6.53.804 (150 mm), so you can pick the height to suit each room while keeping the plain flat design throughout.
It is made from a high-density composite polymer (an extruded, polystyrene-based foam, as Gaudi describe it), so unlike MDF or timber it won’t swell, warp or rot when floors are mopped, which makes it a good choice for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms as well as living spaces. Mitre the corners with a fine-toothed saw, fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and seal the joints with Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60), then paint it to match your doors, architraves or walls.
