A moulded base on a plinth, the foot of an exterior half column, 487 mm wide, 198 mm high and 242 mm deep. It is half-round in plan to sit flat against the wall. It is part of Column 4.10.103, and is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

It is polyurethane foam, supplied white and ready to paint. Join it to the other parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) and fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot hold up a porch roof, canopy, balcony or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
