A fluted half-column shaft for exterior use, 2389 mm long, 294 mm wide and 148 mm deep. Half-round in section, it sits flat against the wall between the base and the capital. It can be trimmed if you need it shorter. It is part of Column 4.10.201, and is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

It is polyurethane foam, supplied white and ready to paint. Join it to the other parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) and fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot hold up a porch roof, canopy, balcony or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
