A shaft section for an exterior half column: a fluted 350 mm section, 366 mm wide, 348 mm high and 180 mm deep. Gaudi build their tallest columns from stacked sections rather than one long shaft, so the height can be set by the number of 700 mm sections you use. Half-round in section, it sits flat against the wall. It is part of Column 4.10.206 and Column 4.10.307, and is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts.

It is polyurethane foam, supplied white and ready to paint. Join it to the other parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) and fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot hold up a porch roof, canopy, balcony or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
