Column 1.30.101

A plain Tuscan full round column, finished on all sides, 2692 mm tall and 318 mm across. The capital has a low profile and a crisp square abacus, and sits over a slender smooth shaft; the column stands on a moulded round foot on a thin square plinth, raised on a panelled pedestal with a moulded cap and foot. The set is made up of Capital 1.11.008, Shaft 1.12.060, Base 1.13.700 and Pedestal 1.14.001, and each part is also sold on its own. Check the overall height against your ceiling before ordering; the shaft is the part to trim if you need it shorter.

Every part is polyurethane foam: light enough to lift into place by hand, moisture resistant and delivered white, ready to paint. Bond the joints between the parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) (or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) for smaller jobs) and fix it in position with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290). Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
