A stepped Art Deco mantel element, 1200 mm long, 300 mm wide and 280 mm deep. Three of these make up the Fireplace Surround 1.64.813 surround, one across the top and one down each side.

Moulded in polyurethane foam, it is far lighter than a stone or cast surround and fixes with adhesive: use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) to the wall and Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) where the parts meet. It arrives white and can be painted any colour, including stone and marble effects. Gaudi call these decorative fireplaces: polyurethane is not a heat-resistant or fire-rated material, so check the clearances required around any live fire, stove or insert with your installer before fitting.
