A large, highly ornate cornice supplied in 2 m lengths, 277 mm down the wall and 205 mm across the ceiling. Its face is carved as a continuous Moorish-style arcade: rows of small arches filled with intricate, lace-like tracery. It is a real statement piece for a large room with a high ceiling, where it reads almost as a carved frieze running around the top of the walls. Because the pattern is so detailed, plan the layout so the arches meet neatly at the corners, and allow a little extra for matching the pattern at joins.

Like the rest of the range it is polyurethane foam: light, moisture resistant and supplied white, ready to paint, and it won’t crack or shrink the way plaster coving can. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and seal the joints with Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60). For quantities, see our guide: how much coving do I need?
