A composite moulding supplied in 2 m lengths, 60 mm high and 25 mm thick, with a classic stepped profile with a rounded top edge. It is the composite version of polyurethane Moulding 1.51.302: the same profile and size, so the two can be used side by side. Popular uses include panel frames (box panelling) on walls and doors, picture and dado rails, and edging a ceiling or wall panel. Composite is rigid, so for curved walls and arches use the flexible polyurethane Moulding 1.51.302(flex). Because it shares the 1.51.302 profile, the decorative corner Dado Rail Corner 1.52.302 fits it for panel frames with shaped corners.

Composite mouldings are made from a high-density composite polymer (an extruded, polystyrene-based foam, as Gaudi describe it): rigid, very light and moisture resistant, and usually a little cheaper than the polyurethane equivalent. Paint it once it is fixed so the joints disappear into the wall. Use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) to fix it and Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) on the joints.
