A keystone, 221 mm wide, 232 mm high and 68 mm deep, with a tapered face carved with a scrolled console. Set at the centre of the head of a window, door or arch, it is the finishing touch that makes a moulded surround look like real stonework, and it sits over the top of a platband or arch frame. The other keystones in the range are Keystone 4.85.001, Keystone 4.85.003, Keystone 4.85.004 and Keystone 4.85.005; pick one to suit the width of your surround.

Made in lightweight polyurethane foam, it won’t rot, crack or swell in the rain the way timber or sand-and-cement mouldings can. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and use Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) on any joints. Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
