A facade cornice from Gaudi’s entablature range, supplied in 2 m lengths, 194 mm high and 205 mm deep, with a stepped profile with a row of dentils (small square blocks) beneath the crown. In a classical entablature the cornice is the projecting crown above the frieze and architrave; on a house it gives a strong, shadowed line over a front door, a bay or along the top of a wall. Ready-made corner pieces save mitring the profile on site: Entablature 4.32.311 (external corner), Entablature 4.32.321 (internal corner) and Entablature 4.32.331 (second external corner). Order enough 2 m lengths to cover the run with a little extra for cutting.

Gaudi make it in polyurethane foam, which is light, moisture resistant and supplied white so it can be painted to suit the house. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and seal the joints with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
