A slender smooth column shaft, 1875 mm long and 156 mm in diameter, for a full round column. It is the shaft of Column 1.30.201, where it sits between the Ionic Capital 1.11.009 and the moulded Base 1.13.800, with the column raised on Pedestal 1.14.002. It is sold separately for repairs, replacements or your own combination of parts, and can be trimmed to suit a lower ceiling.

Like the rest of the range it is polyurethane foam: light, moisture resistant and supplied white, ready to paint. Bond it to the neighbouring parts with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60), and use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) where it meets the wall or floor. Like all polyurethane decor it is decorative rather than structural: it cannot carry a ceiling, beam or any other load, so it must never stand in for a real column or post.
