A composite moulding supplied in 2 m lengths, 47 mm high and 8 mm thick, with a thin flat band with small moulded edges. It is the composite version of polyurethane Moulding 1.51.384: the same profile and size, so the two can be used side by side. Popular uses include panel frames (box panelling) on walls and doors, picture and dado rails, and edging a ceiling or wall panel. For panel frames, mitre the corners at 45 degrees.

Composite mouldings are made from a high-density composite polymer (an extruded, polystyrene-based foam, as Gaudi describe it): rigid, very light and moisture resistant, and usually a little cheaper than the polyurethane equivalent. Paint it once it is fixed so the joints disappear into the wall. Use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) to fix it and Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) on the joints.
