A specialist adhesive for bonding the joints between polyurethane mouldings: where two lengths of coving meet, and at mitred internal and external corners. It sets without expanding, so joints stay tight and flush, and the glue line can be sanded and painted for an invisible finish.

How to apply

  1. Wipe the joint faces with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust.
  2. Apply adhesive over the whole end face of one piece.
  3. Press the pieces together firmly and hold for 4–5 seconds.
  4. Remove any excess straight away.
  5. Once fully hard, sand the joint smooth with fine abrasive paper, fill if needed, then paint.

How much do I need?

As a rough guide, one 60ml tube bonds about 10 joints on standard coving (up to 100mm). For bigger jobs the 290ml cartridge is better value, holding about the same as five tubes.

Joint adhesive only bonds the joints. To fix the lengths to the wall and ceiling, use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) or Mounting Adhesive 290ml (G06.M.290). Also available: Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290).
