A specialist adhesive for bonding the joints between polyurethane mouldings: where two lengths of coving meet, and at mitred internal and external corners. It sets without expanding, so joints stay tight and flush, and the glue line can be sanded and painted for an invisible finish.

How to apply

  1. Wipe the joint faces with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust.
  2. Apply adhesive over the whole end face of one piece.
  3. Press the pieces together firmly and hold for 4–5 seconds.
  4. Remove any excess straight away.
  5. Once fully hard, sand the joint smooth with fine abrasive paper, fill if needed, then paint.

How much do I need?

One 290ml cartridge holds about the same as five 60ml tubes. As a rough guide, that bonds around 50 joints on standard coving (up to 100mm). For a single room, the 60ml tube is usually enough.

Joint adhesive only bonds the joints. To fix the lengths to the wall and ceiling, use Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) or Mounting Adhesive 290ml (G06.M.290). Also available: Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60).
