A composite skirting board supplied in 2 m lengths, 185 mm high and 15 mm deep. Its profile is a tall, plain flat face with a small step at the top. It is a tall, statement skirting for rooms with high ceilings and period homes, where a low skirting would look lost.

It is made from a high-density composite polymer (an extruded, polystyrene-based foam, as Gaudi describe it), so unlike MDF or timber it won’t swell, warp or rot when floors are mopped, which makes it a good choice for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms as well as living spaces. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290), bond the corners and butt joints with Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60), and finish it with water-based paint.
