A bossage (a rusticated stone block), 360 mm wide, 290 mm high and 42 mm deep, with a flat face with chamfered edges. Fixed in courses up the corners of a house as quoins, around a door or window, or across a ground floor, bossages give a rendered facade the look of dressed stone. It shares its 290 mm height with Bossage 4.86.001, so the two can alternate long and short up a corner in the classic quoin pattern.

Gaudi make it in polyurethane foam, which is light, moisture resistant and supplied white so it can be painted to suit the house. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and seal joints with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
