A decorative window ledge (Gaudi’s name for a facade sill moulding), supplied in 2 m lengths, 105 mm high and 48 mm deep, with a flat face framed by small moulded edges. Run beneath a window, it gives the opening a finished base and a strong shadow line, and it pairs naturally with a platband surround on the other three sides. Close the ends neatly with Window Sill 4.82.131, the matching end piece. It dresses the facade beneath the window; it does not replace the window’s own sill or weathering, which should stay in place.
Like the rest of Gaudi’s facade range it is polyurethane foam: light, moisture resistant and supplied white, ready to paint. Fix it with Multipurpose Adhesive 290ml (G10.U.290) and bond every joint with Joint Adhesive 290ml (G07.S.290) (or Joint Adhesive 60ml (G08.S.60) for small repairs). Outdoors, finish it with a good exterior masonry paint once it is fixed; the painted finish protects the surface from sun and weather.
